By combining the absolute predictability of digital filter design with a finely tuned resonance control, these filters allow you to perform dramatic frequency cuts and massive sweeps without losing the foundational weight of your music or introducing harsh, unpredictable distortion. When you push the resonance, the filter accentuates the cutoff point perfectly—giving you that classic, sweeping analog character and aggressive "squelch" on your mid-tops, or a focused, high-impact roll-off on the low end.
